JOINING US
Youth Theatre radiates a natural ensemble feel and welcomes new members to join.
We offer a trial period for anyone interested, allowing you to participate in the regular weekly class and meet the tutors and other members.
We ask all attendees to perform a short audition to check this is the right class for them. It’s not essential to bring an audition piece/monologue, as we can provide text for you.

Ashley Luke Lloyd
Ashley Luke Lloyd was born in Blackpool and attended school at Bispham High School Arts College. He also attended classes at Scream Theatre Schools and is represented by Red Door Management.
Ashley started acting at a young age performing in various advertising commercials including Kinder Egg and playing child lead “Poor Baby” in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s UK touring production of Whistle Down The Wind. He then went on to play the role of Michael in Billy Elliot the Musical. After leaving the West End, Ashley had small roles in many British television shows including Waterloo Road, The Royal, Hollyoaks and he played Zak in I Could Never Be Your Woman, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd. In 2012 Ashley appeared in Loserville: The Musical. Lloyd made his first leading role in a movie in the film Gingerclown 3D (2013), in which he played Sam Tulley alongside Tim Curry, Sean Young and Lance Henriksen.
Ashley has also performed in the international tour of Mamma Mia! and Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar. More recently he has also worked on award winning West End musical Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre.
