Introducing current and past students of Scream Theatre School over the past 20 years – we’re extremely proud of all our student’s achievements!
Jon-Paul received a scholarship to train at ArtsEd in London after leaving Scream and has appeared in ITVs ’Emmerdale’, ’Love Matters’, the feature film ’Kilo Two Bravo’, BBC’s ’Doctors’, and ’Made in the Eighties’.
He has since come back to Scream to teach and direct some fantastic shows as well as juggling his acting career.
Lara went on from Scream to star in the leading role of Bella in Disney’s As The Bell Rings, as well as performing in Jane Eyre The Musical and in the documentary Nightmare in Suburbia. She has since gone onto pursue a career as a legal advisor for the General Medial Council.
Its such a joy to see our pupils perusing careers in all sorts of paths and being successful in many different fields.
Kelsey-Beth played the role of Scarlett Nicholls on ITVs ’Emmerdale’ from 2007-2012. In one of the annual Scream Awards Kelsey-Beth won 2 awards and was seen by TV director Fran Baker, one of the judges, who called her to audition for BBC One’s ’Becky’s Story’ which she was then cast in in 2006, leading onto gaining her role on ’Emmerdale’.
In 2014 Kelsey-Beth then went onto appear on ’The Voice UK’, making it through to the Battle Rounds.
Harrison was with us from the age of 9, he still works as an actor and as a professional dancer for a travel and tourism company and he sometimes comes back to the studios to visit us and say hello to everyone.
Adam joined us when he was just 6 years old after being spotted by our talent agency.
He has appeared in Disney’s 2017 ’Beauty and The Beast’ film as the Young Prince in which he sings ’Days In The Sun’ in the film alongside Emma Watson, Ewan McGregor and Emma Thompson.
Since then he has appeared on the West End as Mike in ’Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. He is also due to appear in ’Mothers Day’ on BBC, we are immensely proud of Adam.
Ashley was one of Screams first pupils, after growing up with us he went on to teach for Scream for a time in his career. He has since gone onto appear onstage in ’Billy Elliot The Musical’, ’A Chorus Line’, ’Loserville: The Musical’, ’Mamma Mia!’ ’Jesus Christ Superstar’, and ’Dreamgirls’ to name a few.
With further credits for ’Doctors’, ’Waterloo Road’ and ’Gingerclown 3D’ on screen. We’re very proud of our very own Ashley Lloyd.
Dylan was a pupil of our MediaCity UK Academy in Manchester. He was with us from the opening of the Manchester school. He has recently starred in the BAFTA award winning short film ’Cowboy Dave’.
To have a Scream student recognised as a BAFTA winner is absolutely outstanding. He is currently doing voice over work for Entertainment One’s animation ’Ricky Zoom’. Dylan has also played Jimmy in BBC’s ’Broken’ alongside Anna Friel and Sean Bean and he played Ewan in ’Love, Lies and Records’.
Will is is a current pupil at Scream. He has been with us for a few years now and has appeared in ’CREEPED OUT!’ On CBBC and ’Top Wing’ on Nickelodeon, Will is doing so very well and we love having him as part of our team.
Skyla is 8 years old and is a current student at Scream, she has appeared in a Morrison’s commercial and is currently recording for the new series Kit & Pup on CBeebies, she is doing incredibly well already and we cant wait to see what the future holds for Skyla.
Betsey has taken the skills she learnt and developed at Scream and took them down a different route, she gained a First Class Degree in Law, she then got awarded a full scholarship to study the Bar from Middle Temple and qualified as a barrister of England and Wales at the age of 22.
She now works for Clyde & Co. Betsey is another fantastic example of a young performer who used the skills she learnt to gain success in other fields.
Richard is now a theatre and events producer. His company produced the UK Tour of ’Flashdance’, the Korean tours of ’SPAMALOT’ and ’Legally Blonde’ and the West End tour of ’Guys and Dolls’.
Richard is a great example of one of our students who has pursued a career in the arts but chose a different path other than performing – we are very proud of him!
